Job Position: Cold Extrusion Associate
Location: Harvard, IL 60033
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
Shift: D-shift(5p-5a, Wed-Fri, E/O Sat)
Description:
Come work for a growing manufacturer in Harvard that specializes in pettreats and offers several opportunities for advancement. We are looking fora cold extrusion associate to work a 12-hour shift, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m.Wednesday through Friday and every other Saturday.

Cold Extrusion Associate Duties and Responsibilities
Check scales and document weight logs per specification.
Check work order details and verify proper parts and cookies used in each package.
Set up label printers and verify quality of print.
Coach employees on proper procedures for packing.
Check metal detector and verify operation during packing.
Verify all work meets specifications before packaging.
Follow cleaning procedures to meet all sanitary requirements.
Cold Extrusion Associate Qualifications and Requirements
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
High school diploma requested.
General knowledge of machine operation and basic math skills.
Possess analytic thinking and able to work at a fast pace.
Demonstrate excellent work habits concerning good manufacturing practices.
Follow safe working practices.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
